Clinical Services
Individuals who experience emotional disorders can benefit from effective treatments. Many disorders can be relieved through short-term psychotherapy or medication.
At the University of Chicago Hospitals Department of Psychiatry, we offer a broad range of general and specialized programs designed to meet the individual needs of each patient and family. We support this breadth of programs, because we believe that psychiatric treatment, perhaps even more than other types of medical care, must be adapted to the individual patient's needs.
