About:
Dr. Chen received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from
the University of Sydney, Australia in 1996 and her Ph.D. in Clinical
Psychology, also from the University of Sydney in 2000. Dr. Chen
completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Eating & Weight Disorders at
Yale University under Kelly Brownell, Ph.D. and Marlene Schwartz, Ph.D.
in 2002. She has recently completed a second postdoctoral
fellowship in Behavioral Research and Therapy with Marsha Linehan,
Ph.D. at the University of Washington in 2005. Dr. Chen is the director
of the Adult Eating and Weight Disorders Program.

pre-surgery intervention for suicidal clients rejected from bariatric

- Longitudinal follow-up of gastric bypass patients
