Objectives:

By the end of this lecture series the resident should:

 Be familiar with the diagnostic criteria for major personality disorders

  1. Be familiar with theories and instruments underlying personality disorder assessment
  2. Be familiar with basic epidemiology, genetics, and clinical presentation of personality disorders, impulse control disorders, and somatoform disorders.
