About:

Dr. Badner graduated from University of Pittsburgh M.D.-Ph.D program.  She completed a psychiatry residency at McLean Hospital, part of Harvard University, and a psychiatric genetics fellowship at NIMH, concentrating in the treatment of families with bipolar and related disorders.  She has been at the University of Chicago since 1999.

Dr. Badner sees patients for psychotherapy and medication management.  She is also involved in psychiatric genetics research, working to identify genes that contribute to psychiatric disorders such as bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.
