Background:

February 2007 - present: Postdoctoral Research Scholar, HBPL, Department of Psychiatry, University of Chicago.

2006 - 2007: Research Fellow, Southern Synergy Adult Psychiatry Research Training and Evaluation Centre, Monash University, Melbourne, Australia.

2006: Doctor of Psychology (Clinical), Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. Dissertation: "Memory, Executive Function and Metamemory in Recreational Ecstasy Polydrug Users."

Research Interests:

My research focuses on psychostimulant and 'party drug' use. I am currently designing studies to examine individual differences in the effects of psychostimulants in healthy humans. I hope these studies will help us to better understand why people use psychostimulants, and which people are at risk of developing problem use. I am also trained as a clinical psychologist and have an interest in mindfulness based treatment approaches.
