MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIR ABOUT Q2 - 2026:
This was another quarter of outstanding achievement across the department. Ingalls admitted 177 patients to Wyman Gordon in June, the highest month in program history. Department grant awards reached $5.3 million in FY26, 58% of trainee posters from Research Day have advanced to abstracts or manuscripts, and six new faculty arrive across the summer and fall. Khalid Afzal was promoted to Professor, and Jennifer Wildes was elected 2027 to 2028 President of the Academy for Eating Disorders. My thanks to every committee and division leader whose work you will find throughout this newsletter.
