The Neuropsychiatry Clinic offers diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning, referral and pharmacologic therapy for adults whose psychiatric difficulties arise from a co-existing neurological or medical conditions such as: dementia of the frontal type, demylinating diseases, developmental syndromes, encephalitis, epilepsy, HIV, Huntington's disease, metabolic disorders, migraines, narcolepsy, neurodegenerative disorders, Parkinson's disease, stroke/intracranial vascular anomalies, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), traumatic brain injury or vasculitis.

Such conditions may be associated with psychological or behavioral symptoms such as aggression, mania, anxiety, obsessions, compulsions, psychosis, depression and self-injurious behaviors.
